Ministry of Health selects Spark Health to deliver on $45M Microsoft contract
In December 2021, The Ministry of Health contracted Spark Health to execute a new single national contract with Microsoft worth $45 million annually, covering the Ministry, Health NZ, the Māori Health Authority and district health boards (DHBs).

72 new phones donated to Digi Fale
For Christmas 2021, Spark Health were delighted to donate 72 phones, worth $26,000, to Digi Fale. Digi Fale are on a mission to help pacific communities navigate digital spaces to improve their health and wellbeing. Phones gifted to pacific families aid in bridging the digital divide in Aotearoa.

Built for the future, Spark Health helps Franklin Hospital to achieve their vision to become “the most advanced little hospital in the country”.

Spark Health supports SDHB's move to the cloud
In 2021 Spark Health is selected to support the Southern District Health Board (SDHB) in their cloud migration.

Spark Health sponsors Sweat with Pride
In June 2021 Spark Health continues their partnership Burnett Foundation by sponsoring Sweat with Pride. In a bid to 'Fight discrimination with perspiration', Sweat with Pride challenges participants to sweat for at least 21 minutes a day to get active and raise money for Rainbow communities.

Spark Health partner with Burnett Foundation on Big Gay Out
In early 2021 Spark Health entered a partnership with the New Zealand Aids Foundation (now Burnett Foundation) by sponsoring the Hauora Hub at the Big Gay Out. This partnership aligned perfectly with our vision to promote equal access to wellness for all New Zealanders.

The Spark Health whānau welcomes new members
A regional team of Spark Health Client Directors is established in October 2022. Expanding our whānau and introducing touchpoints across Aotearoa.

COVID 19 accelerates digital health in New Zealand
COVID lands on New Zealand shores in March 2020. The Spark Health team supports Healthline (now Whakarongorau) to expand rapidly and enable their call centre staff to work from home.

healthAlliance partners with Spark Health
In 2019, Spark Health is selected to partner with healthAlliance to support the cloud migration of the northern region. Moving the health data of the northern region from legacy infrastructure to a secure cloud based technology.
