The way healthcare teams collaborate has evolved, with 98% of clinician-to-clinician meetings now involving remote participants.1

This shift highlights the need for meeting spaces equipped with reliable technology to provide uninterrupted communication. For Aotearoa’s healthcare providers, effective meeting room setups are a key factor in maintaining high standards of care, enabling smoother remote consultations, multi-disciplinary team meetings and ongoing staff training.

Since Covid, hybrid work has reshaped how organisations operate, with 53% of businesses redesigning their office spaces to incorporate this new way of working.1 In the healthcare sector, this means creating environments that support virtual care delivery and efficient internal coordination. Reliable and well-designed meeting rooms reduce the risk of disruptions, allowing healthcare professionals to concentrate on patient outcomes instead of wasting time with technology that isn’t fit for purpose.

Whether you have a small meeting space or a large-scale custom setup, having the right tools, such as 4K cameras with auto-framing, high-quality microphones and interactive display, allows for productive and engaging meetings. Customisation and scalability are especially important for accommodating diverse use cases, from patient case reviews to telehealth workshops. Spark Health is the key supplier for Health NZ and many other national health providers.

Spark NZ not only provides meeting room solutions – we’re also one of the largest users of meeting rooms in Aotearoa. The wider Spark team designs, delivers and manages 270 spaces for our 4,200 hybrid workers nationwide, meaning we’re uniquely placed to understand that fit-for-purpose meeting rooms are essential to meaningful collaboration.

With nationwide coverage, proactive support and customisable options, Spark Health ensures healthcare teams can collaborate effectively and focus on what matters – delivering better health outcomes for all New Zealanders.
